Inari Jewellery is a demi-fine conscious jewellery brand, offering wearers sustainably crafted artisanal pieces that effortlessly elevate their entire appearance. Based in Kuala Lumpur, every piece is batch-made by hand, and their bespoke pieces are produced with no waste.
My friend, Eva, who has extensive experience in jewellery-making, started this as a lockdown project while she was still in a corporate role. When she shared her initial samples amongst friends, there was resounding interest, and one conversation led to another, subsequently growing into the intention to build a brand and experience.
To be entrusted with someone's brand up until its launch is always an honour, for it is such an intimate process, more so when you're working with a friend. We went through an extensive brand strategy process where we dived into the heart of Eva's mission, vision, goals and intentionality for Inari Jewellery. With each conversation, we became clearer, and the brand design began to take shape.
Cutting to the core of a brand that is meant to be deeply personal and thoughtful, we eventually landed on a branding suite that exudes free-spiritedness with a touch of luxury, in the pursuit of authenticity.
All that was then left was designing a Shopify website that Eva could easily plug and play with. After months of iteration, we arrived at a website that reflected the brand's core values just in time for her late 2022 launch.
