Light Within Yoga Studio was birthed from the belief in constant, unapologetic transformation, and from discovering oneself by looking inward. The studio's philosophy is that it is only through darkness that light can be found. As with every project, the question of whether a brand needs a visual symbol came up while I was conceptualising the creative direction. I tried multiple concepts, and ultimately landed with the brand mark above, as their deeper philosophy was best communicated in visual form.
The main logo features an arch which is a doorway to one’s self, and the circle represents the moon which is typically surrounded by darkness, with the rays of light shining through the night, thereby surfacing the light within bursting forth through the dark
